Circuit/System Description
The high voltage circuit impact detector sensor utilizes a unidirectional 2-wire circuit. The high voltage circuit impact detector sensor modulates
current on the circuit interface to send ID, state of health, and collision status to the serial data gateway module. The serial data gateway module
serves as a power source and a ground for the high voltage circuit impact detector sensor. When the ignition is turned ON and input power from the
serial data gateway module is first detected, the high voltage circuit impact detector sensor responds by performing internal diagnostics and sending
an ID to the serial data gateway module. The high voltage circuit impact detector sensor continually communicates status messages to the serial data
gateway module,
Conditions for Running the DTC
* The ignition is ON.
* The battery voltage is 7.5-18 V.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
B009F 00
The serial data gateway module is not programmed to use high voltage circuit impact detector sensor 1.
B009F 11
The high voltage circuit impact detector sensor signal circuit is shorted to voltage for 2.5 seconds.
B009F 12
The high voltage circuit impact detector sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground for 2.5 seconds.
