锟斤拷If the test lamp is always OFF, test the control circuit for a short to voltage or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace

the ESCM.

7. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the ALC compressor.

Component Testing

1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the air compressor harness connector.

2. Test the exhaust valve for 18-45 ohms between the control terminal and the battery positive terminal.

锟斤拷If not within the specified range, replace the air compressor.

3. Test for infinite resistance between the control terminal and ground.

锟斤拷If less than the specified value, replace the air compressor.
