Circuit/System Verification
Important: When using this diagnostic, more than one vehicle key is required to ensure proper diagnosis. If more than one key is not
available at the time of service, contact the customer and ask if any other keys can be provided for service. If unavailable, a new second key
can be created.
1. Perform the 10-Minute Vehicle Key Relearn procedure. Refer to Replacing Keys (North America except Canada) (See: Accessories and
Optional Equipment/Antitheft and Alarm Systems/Service and Repair/Replacing Keys (North America Except Canada)).
2. While viewing the scan tool TDM Valid Key parameter, turn ON the ignition with each of the available vehicle keys. The parameter should
read Yes with all available keys.

DTC B3105
- Keyless Entry System Key Fobs Not Programmed
Circuit/System Description
The remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) monitors the number of keyless entry transmitters programmed. Until at least one transmitter is
programmed, the RCDLR determines a malfunction condition exists.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The keyless entry system must be enabled.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The DTC is set if there are no keyless entry transmitter programmed to the RCDLR.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
The keyless entry system is inoperative.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
A current DTC is cleared at least one transmitter has been programmed to the RCDLR.
