2. Engine Running, gear selector lever in Park position. Verify with a scan tool the following test status parameters displays OK:

* High Side Driver 1 Circuit High Voltage Test Status

* High Side Driver 1 Circuit Open Test Status

* High Side Driver 1 Circuit Low Voltage Test Status

3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the

conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.

Circuit/System Testing

Note: You must perform the Circuit/System Verification first.

1. Ignition OFF, remove the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly. Refer to Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly

Replacement (See: Powertrain Management/Transmission Control Systems/Actuators and Solenoids - Transmission and

Drivetrain/Actuators and Solenoids - A/T/Shift Solenoid/Service and Repair).

2. Perform the Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Inspection (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic

Transmission/Transaxle/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control

Module Assembly Inspection).

3. Place the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly on a clean work surface near the transmission assembly.

4. Connect DT-47825-10 - jumper harness between the vehicle wire harness electrical connector, and the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly

electrical connector.

5. Ignition ON, verify with a scan tool the following test status parameters display OK:

* High Side Driver 1 Circuit High Voltage Test Status

* High Side Driver 1 Circuit Open Test Status

* High Side Driver 1 Circuit Low Voltage Test Status

瀚慖f any test status parameter displays Fault or Malfunction, replace the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly.

Repair Instructions

Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (See: Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.

* Control Module References (See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning) for control solenoid valve assembly replacement,

setup, and programming.

* Perform the Service Fast Learn Adapts (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Testing and

Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Service Fast Learn Adapts) following all transmission related repairs.

DTC Descriptors

DTC P0667

- Transmission Control Module (TCM) Temperature Sensor Performance

DTC P0668

- Transmission Control Module (TCM) Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

DTC P0669

- Transmission Control Module (TCM) Temperature Sensor Circuit High Voltage

Circuit/System Description

The transmission control module (TCM) temperature sensor is located inside of the control solenoid valve assembly which has no serviceable parts.

The TCM temperature sensor provides the temperature of the TCM. This temperature reading is used in various diagnostic routines in the TCM

software. This fault is handled inside the TCM and no external circuits are involved.
