2010 Cadillac Truck SRX AWD V6-2.8L Turbo Page 1060

* The ECT at last engine shut down was warmer than 80掳C (176掳F).

* Since last shut down, the ECT has decreased more than 40掳C (69掳F).

* DTC P0111 runs continuously when the above conditions are met for greater than 20 s.

P0112 and P0113

* The engine run time is greater than 15 s.

* The engine is idling for greater than 3 s.

* The IAT is colder than 35掳C (95掳F).

* The IAT change is more than 2.3掳C (4.1掳F).

* The DTCs runs continuously when the above conditions are met fro greater than 2 s.

P0114

* The ignition is ON.

* The DTCs runs continuously within the enabling conditions.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

P0111

* The ECM detects that the IAT remains steady within 2掳C (4掳F) during the idle test.

* The ECM detects that the IAT decreased less than 2掳C (4掳F) during the cruise test.

* Any of the above conditions exists for greater than a cumulative of 45 s for the cruse test or 55 s for the idle test.

* The ECM detects that the difference between the IAT and the ECT less than -20掳C (-36掳F) OR more than 35掳C (63掳F).

* The above condition exists for greater than 2 s.

P0112

The ECM detects that the intake air temperature is warmer than 132掳C (270掳F) for greater than 4 s or a cumulative of 30 s.

P0113

The ECM detects that the intake air temperature is colder than -42掳C (-43.6掳F) and remains steady within 3掳C (5掳F) during a cumulative air flow of

greater than 999 grams. The scan tool is limited to -40掳C (-40掳F), so the diagnostic procedure uses -39掳C (-38掳F) to determine if there is an IAT

condition. The condition exists for greater than 4 s or a cumulative of 30 s.

P0114

The ECM detects that the IAT sensor signal is intermittent or has abruptly changed for period of time greater than 5 s.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

DTCs P0111, P0112, P0113, and P0114 are Type B DTCs.

Conditions for Clearing the MIL/DTC

DTCs P0111, P0112, P0113, and P0114 are Type B DTCs.

Diagnostic Aids

* If the vehicle has sat overnight, the IAT sensor and the ECT sensor values should be within 3掳C (5掳F).

* High resistance on the IAT sensor signal circuit could set a DTC.
