Circuit/System Testing

1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the auxiliary audio jack harness connector.

2. Ignition ON, test for less than 1 volt between the left auxiliary audio signal terminal 6, to ground.

瀚慖f greater than the specified value, test the circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.

3. Test for less than 1 volt between the right auxiliary audio signal terminal 7, to ground.

瀚慖f greater than the specified value, test the circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.

4. Test for less than 1 volt between the auxiliary audio common signal terminal 5, to ground.

瀚慖f greater than the specified value, test the circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.

5. Ignition OFF, test for infinite resistance from the left auxiliary audio signal terminal 6, to ground.

瀚慖f less than the specified value, test the circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.

6. Test for infinite resistance from the right auxiliary audio signal terminal 7, to ground.

瀚慖f less than the specified value, test the circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.

7. If all of the circuits test normal, replace the auxiliary audio jack.
