Circuit/System Verification
1. Ignition ON, verify that DTCs U1826, U1827, or C0292 are not set.

2. Perform the steering angle sensor calibration procedure. Refer to Steering Angle Sensor Centering (See: Sensors and Switches/Sensors and
Switches - Steering and Suspension/Sensors and Switches - Steering/Steering Angle Sensor/Service and Repair/Procedures).
3. With a scan tool, clear the DTC.
4. Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC. Verify the DTC does not reset.
瀚慖f the DTC resets, replace the steering angle sensor.
