Circuit/System Description



The keyless entry control module will detect the keyless entry transmitter when an exterior door handle is pulled and the transmitter is within 1



meter (3 feet) of the door handle, the body control module (BCM) will unlock the doors and send the unlatch enable signal to keyless entry control



module.



Conditions for Running the DTC



The system voltage is 9-16 V.



Conditions for Setting the DTC

The keyless entry control module detects a short to voltage for greater than 3 seconds on the driver door lock actuator unlock control circuit.

The keyless entry control module detects a short to voltage for greater than 3 seconds on the door lock control circuit.



Action Taken When the DTC Sets

The driver door will require two pulls of their exterior door handle to unlock the door and then to unlatch the door.



B252B 02



The passenger, left rear and right rear doors will require two pulls of their exterior door handles to unlock the doors and then to unlatch the doors.



Conditions for Clearing the DTC



* This DTC will be current for as long as the fault is present



* When the fault is no longer present, the DTC will be a history DTC



* A history DTC will clear after 40 ignition cycles
