Relay Test



1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the KR5 rear defogger relay.



2. Test for 60-180 ohm between terminals 85 and 86.



瀚慖f not within the specified range, replace the KR5 rear defogger relay.



3. Test for infinite resistance between the following terminals:



* 30 and 86



* 30 and 87



* 30 and 85



* 85 and 87



瀚慖f not the specified value, replace the KR5 rear defogger relay.



4. Install a 25A fused jumper wire between relay terminal 86 and 12V. Install a jumper wire between relay terminal 85 and ground. Test for less



than 2 ohm between terminals 30 and 87.



瀚慖f greater than the specified range, replace the KR5 rear defogger relay.

- Content Theft Deterrent Assembly Internal Malfunction



Circuit/System Description



The content theft deterrent intrusion/inclination sensor performers an internal self-check to determine it is functioning properly.



Conditions for Running the DTC



* The ignition is OFF.



* The vehicle is in Park.



Conditions for Setting the DTC



The body control module (BCM) detects an internal failure within the content theft deterrent intrusion/inclination sensor.



Action Taken When the DTC Sets



The intrusion and inclination output is disabled.



Conditions for Clearing the DTC



* A current DTC is cleared when the conditions for setting the DTC are no longer present.
