Important: When removing connectors inspect for damage or corrosion. Damage or corrosion in the following requires repair or

replacement of the affected.

* SDM

* SDM wiring harness

1. Ignition ON, verify the scan tool Primary Key Status displays Valid.

瀚慖f not the specified value, verify the scan tool SDM Primary Key matches the Received Primary Key. If the key does not match, perform

the Setup SDM Primary Key in BCM procedure.

2. Ignition ON, verify the scan tool Secondary Key Status displays Valid.

瀚慖f not the specified value, verify the scan tool received VIN Digits 2-7 match the vehicle VIN.

* If the VIN does not match, reprogram the BCM and perform the Setup SDM Primary Key in BCM procedure.

* If the VIN matches, reprogram the SDM, ensure the correct SDM calibration is used and perform the Setup SDM Primary Key in BCM

procedure.

Repair Instructions

Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (See: Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.

DTC Descriptor

DTC B1008 42

- Calibration Data Not Programmed Calibration Data Set Not Programmed

Circuit/System Description

When the ignition is turned ON, the rear object sensor control module performs a self-test to verify if a critical malfunction exists within the

system. During the power-up mode, the rear object sensor control module checks for a valid calibration data set.

Conditions for Running the DTC

* DTC B1325 is not set

* Ignition voltage is between 9-16 volts

Conditions for Setting the DTC

A valid calibration is not detected upon module power-up.
