1 Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check -Vehicle? Go to Step 2 Go to Diagnostic System Check -Vehicle
2 1. Connect the scan tool. 2. Go to the passenger presence system (PPS) menu, then retrieve the DTCs. Refer to Passenger Presence System Displaying Code Procedure. Does the scan tool display DTC 1063? Go to Step 3 -
3 1. Turn OFF the ignition. IMPORTANT: The PPS is a calibrated system. The PPS must be check for preloads after replacement. 2. Replace the PPS. The PPS is only serviceable as PPS and seat bottom foam assembly. Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup, and programming. Did you complete the replacement? Go to Step 4 -
4 1. Verify that all components, connectors and CPAs are properly mounted. 2. Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTCs. 3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC as specified in the supporting text. Does the DTC reset? Go to Step 2 System OK
