Trouble Code Descriptions/Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle)

2. With the scan tool observe the SDM impact sensor configuration scan tool data list. Verify the impact sensors called out in the scan tool data

list match the number of actual impact sensors the vehicle is built with.

瀚慖f the number of impact sensors do not match verify the correct SDM calibration file is loaded in the SDM.

瀚慖f the SDM calibration file is correct, the vehicle contains less/more sensors than it is supposed to. Modify the vehicle to match the SDM

impact sensor calibration scan tool data list.

3. With the scan tool observe the SDM enabled deployment loop configuration scan tool data list. Verify the enabled deployment loops called

out in the scan tool data list match the deployment loops the vehicle is built with.

瀚慖f the number of enabled deployment loops do not match verify the correct SDM calibration file is loaded in the SDM.

瀚慖f the SDM calibration file is correct, modify the vehicle to match the SDM enabled deployment loop calibration scan tool data list.

4. If the SDM impacts sensor and enabled deployment loops match the vehicle build and the DTC is still current, replace the K36 SDM.

Diagnostic Instructions

* Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle (See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnostic System

Check - Vehicle) prior to using this diagnostic procedure.

* Review Strategy Based Diagnosis (See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Strategy Based Diagnosis) for an

overview of the diagnostic approach.

Instructions) provides an overview of each diagnostic category.

DTC Descriptor

DTC B1019 00

- System Configuration Error

Circuit/System Description

When calibrating the liftgate position, the liftgate module (LGM) is placed in a functional state to learn the liftgate travel limits. DTC B1019 00

will set automatically as an indicator that the system is in learn mode and not as a fault indicator. Once the travel limits are learned by the LGM, the

liftgate module will exit calibration mode and DTC B1019 00 become a history code.

Conditions for Running the DTC

The system voltage is 9-16 volts.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

Whenever the LGM is replaced or in learn mode.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

The power liftgate system will be disabled.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

* The DTC will be current until the liftgate calibration procedure has been completed.

* When the calibration procedure has been completed the DTC will be a history DTC.

Diagnostic Aids

Setting B1019 00 is normal after flashing the liftgate module. This DTC will be current after flashing and the DTC will go to history after learning.
